Truth
Living in alignment with what is real. Truth extends beyond honesty to recognizing the divine nature of existence.
Love as thought is Truth
Understanding Truth
Truth begins simply: saying what is so, and not pretending otherwise. It is the honesty that lets people trust one another, and without it nothing lasting can be built — not a friendship, not a community, not a house.
But Truth goes further than accurate speech. Beneath every changing circumstance there is something that does not change: the awareness in which all of life appears. To live in Truth is to live in alignment with that — to see that the same divine reality looks out through every pair of eyes.
When Truth is recognised in this way, honesty stops being an effort. There is simply nothing to hide.
How Truth shapes what we do
- We describe only the work we are actually doing. We describe our projects as they actually are, including rebuilding homes in Nepal. Anything we have not yet begun is clearly marked as vision.
- We report what happened, not what sounds good. As the Nepal work progresses, updates will show what was done, what it cost, and what is still needed.
- We share stories only with consent. The dignity of the families we serve comes before any campaign. Their suffering is never used as spectacle.
Living Truth
- Notice one moment today when you are tempted to shade the truth — to look a little better, or to avoid discomfort.
- Pause there. Say the simple, true thing instead.
- Later, sit quietly and ask: what in me has never changed? Rest in whatever answers.
Help a family come home
Families in Nepal lost their homes to flash floods. Our local team is helping them rebuild. Every contribution, of any size, brings a family closer to a safe place to live.
